Synopsis
RENT is a rock musical about love, loss, and living without regret.
Set in New York City’s East Village at the height of the HIV/AIDS crisis, RENT follows a year in the lives of seven artists and friends struggling to pursue their dreams while grappling with addiction, illness, and the soaring cost of staying true to themselves.
With a groundbreaking pop-rock score by Jonathan Larson, RENT captures the raw energy of a generation refusing to be defined by circumstance. From the anthem “Seasons of Love” to the defiant “La Vie Bohème,” the music pulses with urgency, humor, and heart.
“No day but today”.
Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, RENT remains a landmark theatrical experience—a celebration of community, creativity, and the connections that sustain us.
